Welcome to Aspire 7!
Aspire 7 is a special scheme designed just for Year 7 students.
It’s your chance to show how well you demonstrate our school values, both in the classroom and around the school.
Throughout the year, you’ll take part in fun and meaningful challenges that encourage creativity, teamwork, and resilience. As you get involved and show positive behaviour, you’ll earn character points for your effort and commitment.
Aspire 7 is a great way to start your secondary school journey , aim high, get involved, and be recognised for doing your best!
Your Logbook
Your logbook is your central place for:
- Important information
- Notes and reflections
- Tracking your progress through the challenges
Your logbook will show you how you can get character points
- in your different subject areas
- Through completing challenges that departments have set
Your Coach
Your Aspire 7 Coach is a Sixth Form student who has been trained to support you. They’ll meet with you twice a half term in your tutor time to check in, offer guidance, and celebrate your progress.
Your coach is there to:
- Help you set personal goals
- Encourage you and support you in your challenges
- Log your challenges that you have completed onto a tracker that will let us know how many points to award you
The Prestigious Badges
During the Autumn Term, you’ll work towards your Bronze Award for Aspire 7.
As you earn points, you can achieve badges for:
- Integrity
- Aspiration
- Community
Once you’ve earned all three badges, you’ll trade them in for a Bronze Shield Badge!
In the Spring Term, you’ll begin working towards your Silver Award, with even more opportunities to challenge yourself and grow.
Who else will support me?
- Your tutor will work alongside your coach to help you succeed in Aspire 7.
- The year team and co-Curriculum Team are also involved in organising the programme, tracking your progress, and celebrating your achievements.
- Your parents and guardians are also there for support, especially if you need help with some of the tricker challenges at home!
Together, everyone will make sure you have all the support you need to make the most of your Aspire 7 journey. We will post information and instructions on Teams regularly. If you have any questions, just get in touch!
