Careers Programme
At St Paul’s Way Trust School, we aspire for all our graduates to progress into a career that is tailored to their personal ambitions and which allows them to realise their full potential. We recognise the importance of teaching a broad and balanced curriculum that offers students the academic currency needed to progress in their careers, as well as offering a programme of extra-curricular support that ensures they develop clear, ambitious and realistic plans for the future.
SPWT welcomes education and training providers to engage with students. The Provider Access Policy offers providers the opportunity to review current opportunities for access. Many of these events will offer providers an opportunity to come into school to speak to and work with students and/or their parents/carers.
Commitment to Quality in Careers Award: February 2026
We are proud to be working towards re-accreditation of the Quality in Careers Standard, building on our previous Gold Award. This reflects our continued commitment to delivering a high-quality, inclusive careers programme that supports all students to make informed choices about their future pathways. Our current ‘Commitment to Quality’ recognises the ongoing development and strengthening of our careers provision across the school.

Evaluation Report
SPWT have completed an evaluation of the CEIAG provision across Years 7-13, led by Ms Kawtar and Ms Johura. Despite the disruptions and challenges caused by the pandemic, we are proud that students have had encounters with employers, access to labour market information, 1:1 sessions with a qualified Careers Advisor, access to career learning in lessons and much more. Parents and staff have also been learning about the labour market and employability over the course of the year. You can learn more about our Careers Programme below. See our evaluation report:
