This page is where we celebrate the achievements of our incredible young people as they receive their GCSE results and take the next step in their journey. At St Paul’s Way Secondary School (SPWS), our mission is to provide transformational education for all and today is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the progress, determination and achievements of our learners.
We are incredibly proud of the journeys each of our young people has taken and the resilience, commitment and ambition they have shown along the way. Throughout their time with us, they have demonstrated our core values of Aspiration, Integrity and Community striving for their very best, supporting and inspiring one another, and showing the character to overcome challenges. Today marks an important milestone, and we are immensely proud of every member of the SPWS community as they take their next steps towards an exciting future.
Class of 2026
Fatimah

Fatimah began her education at Manorfield Primary School before achieving outstanding GCSE results, including 9999999997. She will continue her studies at The NCS, where she plans to study Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Physics.
Fatimah credits her teachers for supporting her throughout her GCSEs, while the wider support and academic challenges provided by SPW helped her push herself further and achieve her results.
One of her best experiences at SPW was the additional intervention sessions, particularly in History. She appreciated the depth and thoroughness of these sessions, which helped strengthen her understanding of the subject.
Looking ahead, Fatimah hopes to pursue a science degree, with a particular interest in Engineering, where she can apply her strong foundation in STEM subjects to a future career.

Safwan began his education at St Paul’s Way Trust, achieving an outstanding set of GCSE results, with 9999999999. He will continue his studies at King’s Maths School, where he plans to study Maths and Further Maths.
Safwan credits his wonderful teachers, excellent resources and educational interventions for helping him achieve his results. He is particularly grateful to Mr Jacobs for his Saturday intervention sessions, which provided valuable additional support.
One of his best experiences at SPW was taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE), which helped him develop important skills such as critical thinking and communication.
Looking ahead, Safwan hopes to pursue Aeronautical or Electrical Engineering, with the ambitious long-term goal of studying at MIT. His strong academic foundation and passion for STEM will support him as he works towards this goal.

Prince

Prince began his education at St Paul’s Way Trust, achieving outstanding GCSE results, achieving 9999998877. He will continue his studies with Maths, Biology and Chemistry while keeping his future options open.
Prince credits the school’s Into University programme for inspiring him to aim higher and continue his education. Through visits and exposure to leading universities and workplaces, the programme helped him see the opportunities available beyond school.
One of his favourite experiences at SPW was an unforgettable Chemistry lesson when his teacher created an explosion in the classroom, making it a memorable and exciting lesson.
Looking ahead, Prince hopes to pursue a career in Medicine. Fascinated by the human body from a young age, he hopes to combine medicine and technology to help others while continuing to explore the physical aspects of the human body.

Nyela began her education at St Paul’s Way Trust before going on to achieve strong GCSE results, achieveing 87665554. She will continue her education at Leyton Sixth Form College, where she plans to study Sociology, Drama and Politics.
Nyela credits the school’s pre-exam revision sessions for helping her prepare effectively and achieve her results. She is particularly grateful for the amazing support and attention to detail from her teachers, which made her feel encouraged and well prepared throughout her GCSEs.
Looking back, one of her best experiences at St Paul’s Way Trust was the support she received from her teachers, who consistently encouraged her to do her best. Her advice to younger students beginning their GCSEs is not to stress too much, stay focused and trust that things will work out.

Samiul began his education at Ben Johnson Primary School before going on to achieve outstanding GCSE results, achieving 9999999888. He will continue his studies at London Academy of Excellence or Newham College Sixth Form, where he plans to study Maths, Further Maths, Computer Science and Economics.
Samiul credits the support of his teachers and the wide range of learning resources, including books and tools, for helping him achieve his results. He particularly valued having supportive teachers who encouraged him throughout his studies.
One of his best experiences at SPW was his Maths lessons, where he enjoyed learning alongside his friends. Their shared enthusiasm made him look forward to each lesson even more.
Looking ahead, Samiul hopes to pursue a career in computer programming or software development. His advice to younger students is to enjoy the subjects they can see themselves working in, as finding enjoyment in learning can be the greatest motivation.

Mahadi began his education at Bonner Primary School before going on to achieve outstanding GCSE results, achieveing 9999999886. He will continue his studies at LAE Sixth Form Stratford, where he plans to study Maths, Physics and Economics.
Mahadi credits the school’s after-school intervention sessions for helping him consolidate his knowledge and strengthen his understanding. Although he was initially reluctant to attend, he came to recognise how valuable the additional support was to his progress.
One of his best experiences at SPW was the friendships he made, particularly those who encouraged him to push himself academically. He believes that the people you surround yourself with can make a significant difference.
Looking ahead, Mahadi hopes to pursue a career in Architecture, a dream he has had since childhood.
“Do not stress. Stay on top of your work, trust the process, and remember that your education is the school’s priority. Once you stay organised, the rest becomes much easier.”

Salman
Six Grade 9s
Having secured six Grade 9s in his GCSEs, Salman plans to continue his academic journey at SPW Sixth Form, where he will study Maths, Chemistry and Economics. He joined SPW from St Paul’s with St Luke’s Trust School and describes his time at SPW as truly life-changing. “In my previous school, I was mischievous and failed my exams, but here at SPW I transformed into someone who has achieved good grades. It has truly been a life-changing point for me.” Salman credits the school’s supportive environment, dedicated staff and strong sense of community for his transformation, highlighting how the encouragement and guidance he received played a vital role in helping him reach his full potential.
Lizzie
Nine Grade 9s and one Grade 8
Having secured nine Grade 9s and one Grade 8 in her GCSE examinations, Lizzie plans to continue her studies at SPW Sixth Form, where she will take Maths, History and French. She joined SPW from Olga Primary School and reflects positively on the support she received throughout her time at SPW. “The school has provided numerous interventions and encouraged me to aim for the highest. They also supported me through self-teaching during the later stages of my GCSEs.” Lizzie attributes her success to the school’s high expectations, tailored academic support and encouragement, all of which helped her stay motivated and achieve outstanding results.
Miu Sato
Six Grade 9s
Having secured six Grade 9s in her GCSE examinations, Miu Sato will be continuing her studies at SPW Sixth Form, where she will take Maths, Biology, Economics and Psychology. She joined SPW from Clara Grant Primary School and speaks highly of the dedication and support offered by the staff. “The teachers have gone out of their way to provide me with the materials and tools I need to succeed.” Miu credits the school’s commitment to student success and the personalised support she received as key factors in her academic achievements.
Rayat
Nine Grade 9s and six Grade 8s
Rayat achieved nine Grade 9s in six subjects and eight Grade 8s in four others. He will be continuing his studies at SPW Sixth Form, where he will focus on Maths, Physics, Computer Science and Geography. He joined SPW from St Paul’s with St Luke’s Primary School and speaks highly of the exceptional support and guidance provided by the staff. “The teachers at SPW are brilliant, they offered high-quality education and have immensely supported me,” Rayat says. He credits the school’s dedication to nurturing individual potential and providing a solid foundation for academic success as pivotal factors in his achievements.
Abir
Six Grade 9s
Having secured Grade 9s in six subjects, Abir will be continuing his studies at SPW Sixth Form, LAE or NCS , where he will pursue A-levels in Maths, Chemistry, Biology and History. He joined SPW from St Paul’s with St Luke Trust School and praises the school for its supportive and engaging approach to education. “The teachers at SPW have been incredibly supportive with my learning as well as ensuring an interactive school curriculum,” Abir says. He appreciates the school’s focus on creating a dynamic and personalised learning environment, which he feels has been crucial to his academic success.
Talha
Six Grade 9s
Talha achieved Grade 9s in six subjects, and will be continuing their studies at SPW Sixth Form, where he will focus on Maths, Physics, Computer Science and Economics. He joined SPW from St Paul’s with St Luke Trust School and reflects on the invaluable support he received from the teachers. “My teachers have been undoubtedly supportive throughout my school year. They motivated me to do better than I thought possible,” Talha shares. He credits the school’s encouragement and guidance as key to his academic achievements, helping him to surpass his own expectations.
Ameen
Three Grade 9s, two Grade 8s and four Grade 7s
Ameen excelled in their GCSEs, achieving Grade 9s in three subjects, Grade 8s in two and Grade 7s in four. They are still considering where to continue their studies but reflects fondly on their time at SPW. They joined from Bonner Primary School and speak highly of the support they received throughout their journey. “The school has been phenomenal, the support and help from teachers have truly helped me throughout my studies,” Ameen says. They credit the dedication and encouragement of the teaching staff as essential in helping them achieve their academic success.
Max
Five Grade 9s and three Grade 8s
Having secured Grade 9s in five subjects and Grade 8s in three, Max will be continuing his studies at the London Academy of Excellence, where he plans to focus on his A-levels. He joined SPW from St. Mary and St Michael's Primary School and is thankful for the support he received throughout his time there. “I’m very grateful for the teachers I had because of how helpful they were to my studies,” Max says. He appreciates the dedication of the staff, which he believes played a key role in his academic success.
