Tower Hamlets council provides universal FSM regardless of the parent(s) income to include children of residents of the borough who attend primary school. Find out more on the Tower Hamlets website.

All our home-school communications are made via the Arbor app. This can be downloaded from any app store. You will be able to link to your child once they are on roll officially in September.

PSHE

Details on Personal Development lessons are available on the website.

School Day Times

Students should arrive at the Year 7 gate between 8:40am and 8:50am. From 8:51am a student would be considered late to school. The school day finishes at 3:25pm for Year 7.

School / Packed Lunches

We operate a cashless catering system. Currently, all students receive a free school lunch, paid for either by the central government or Tower Hamlets depending on household income. We are updated annually from Tower Hamlets who confirm if these universal free school meals will continue for the next academic year. All students will be allocated a lunch card which will enable them to have lunch. Students can bring in packed lunches, we are a Gold Standard Healthy School, and pack lunches should reflect this (no sweets/chocolate, no fizzy drinks etc).

Wellbeing Support

We have the pastoral team as a first point of support (Tutors, Student Achievement Coordinator, Year Team Leader) and a Safeguarding and Wellbeing Team. We also have staff trained as Mental Health First Aiders and school counsellors that students can be referred to. We also recommend that once students are 11 years old, they sign up to kooth.com
