St Paul's Way Win Drapers' Den 2023

St Paul's Way are extremely delighted to announce that six of our Year 12 students have been crowned the winners of the prestigious Drapers' Den Final on Monday 27th November where they pitched their product, RopeRev, to potential investors. The team has won £5000, £1000 for The British Heart Foundation and a place at The Livery Academy Awards at Mansion House in January.

This year, the students were given a brief to create a commercially viable and sustainable product/service that addresses an existing challenge faced by the local community and uses new or existing technology. RopeRev, created by the St Paul's Way team, is the world’s first multi-purpose incentivised skipping rope that allows users to view and monitor achievements live on their mobile phones. Its mission is to combat the sedentary lifestyles of young people in Tower Hamlets and beyond, promoting a healthy, strong, and sustainable future. With a focus on both financial returns and social sustainability, the team were inspired to work at a grassroots level with their local community, businesses, and schools to roll out a transformational pilot.

Congratulations to the team!
