Our graduates are today celebrating incredible A Level results as they leave the Sixth Form for a range of outstanding universities and degree apprenticeships.

The long track record of supporting students into Russell Group universities continues, with over 40% taking up places at the most prestigious universities in the country.

Behind the headlines are individual stories of tremendous achievement. Sara Uddin and Mohammed Alayoubi are celebrating achieving excellent results of A*A*A and AAA and have both received the prestigious The Barts and the London Scholarship, where they will both read Medicine at Queen Mary University.

One departing graduate, Naeemah Anjum, celebrates securing a place on the highly competitive degree apprenticeship programme with PwC in accounting as she achieved A*AA grades.

The sixth form also says a fond farewell to star students Talha Rahman and Sahib Imtiaj, who are celebrating wonderful achievements of A*A*A* and A*A*A. They leave to join UCL to study Mathematics, and UCL to study Mechanical Engineering, where they will undoubtedly have a similarly positive impact on their new community.

These results come at an incredibly exciting time, with a bespoke sixth form space opening this September that will facilitate an additional intake of students. This investment in post-16 provision highlights the school’s focus on supporting young adults to fulfil their potential.

Speaking about the latest developments and another year of record results, Head of School Firdusi Uddin said: “We are incredibly proud of our students’ achievements. They have truly lived out the school values of Aspiration, Integrity and Community. We wish them all the best in their future pathways and look forward to welcoming back to share their story with those that follow in their footsteps.

“This group has worked tirelessly to achieve their dreams and pave the way for future generations to aspire to great things. From September I am delighted that all St Paul’s Way sixth formers will have access to a brand new space that will offer an adult learning environment for all to thrive in. The evolution of our provision will undoubtedly provide the perfect platform for success.”

Echoing Mrs Uddin, Fatima Johura (Deputy Headteacher - Quality of Education, Sixth Form and Co-Curriculum) commented: “It is a pleasure to witness students’ efforts bear fruit and allow them to progress onto the courses of their choosing. Our close-knit community has once again proven that anything is possible with a culture of ambition, hard work and support from subject specialists. Congratulations to all of our leavers – we will miss them all!”
