SPWS Iftar 2026

This year we were proud to host our third annual Iftar event, bringing together students, staff and guests for an evening of reflection, unity and celebration. It was a wonderful success, with around 220 attendees coming together to share in this meaningful occasion.

We were honoured to welcome Bushra Nasir as our guest speaker. A highly respected figure in the education sector, she delivered an inspiring talk that encouraged everyone present to think about the importance of contributing positively to society and playing an active role in making our country a better place to live.

Her words resonated strongly with both students and staff, leaving a lasting impression.

The evening was filled with thoughtful moments, including the sharing of stories, reflections and poetry. These contributions created a warm and inclusive atmosphere, allowing members of our school community to connect and learn from one another. As the sun set, guests came together to break the fast, marking a powerful moment of togetherness.

Our senior students played a key role in the success of the event. They worked tirelessly both behind the scenes and on the night itself, demonstrating excellent organisation and commitment to ensure everything ran smoothly. Their efforts helped to create an enjoyable and memorable experience for all.

A range of delicious treats were also available during the evening, with all proceeds going towards charity. We are proud to support Forgotten Women, with funds raised contributing to their important work supporting vulnerable women around the world.

This event reflects our school value of Community, as it brought people together in a spirit of respect, generosity and shared understanding, strengthening the bonds within our diverse school.
