We recently hosted a vibrant STEAM exhibition that brought together pupils from every year group to celebrate their learning and creativity. The event showcased a wide range of projects, with each child confidently explaining the experiments they had developed both at home and in school.

The exhibition hall was filled with colourful displays, including detailed boards and diagrams that explored scientific ideas such as how bubbles form and the different states of matter. Pupils demonstrated a strong understanding of their topics, presenting their findings with enthusiasm and pride. Some projects featured video experiments, while others involved hands on activities using balloons, static electricity, and everyday ingredients to explore scientific reactions.

One of the highlights of the exhibition was the number of pupils who created their own volcano models. These exciting demonstrations showed chemical reactions in action, as pupils explained how and why their volcanoes erupted.

Each project began with a question, encouraging pupils to think deeply and investigate topics that interested them. For example, those fascinated by volcanoes explored how eruptions occur and designed experiments to bring their ideas to life.

Throughout the event, pupils also reflected on their learning, sharing what they enjoyed most and the challenges they faced along the way. This helped to develop their confidence and communication skills, as well as their understanding of the scientific process.

This exhibition strongly reflects our school value of aspiration. Pupils were encouraged to aim high, explore their curiosity, and challenge themselves through independent enquiry. Their creativity and determination showed a real commitment to learning and achieving their best.
