SPW Outstanding Sixth Form A Level & BTEC Results

Once again, we are celebrating another incredible year of outstanding results from our sixth formers at St Paul's Way. We are immensely proud of their hard work and dedication, and we hope they go on to make lasting, positive contributions to society.

Over one in four grades awarded this year was an A, with many of our students now moving on to prestigious universities or competitive work placements across the country.

One of our high-achieving students, Nibras, will be studying Physics at Imperial College London, having achieved an exceptional 4 A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry. He is aspiring to have a career in AI and improve the quality of life in his local community. He thanked his “supportive and encouraging” teachers for keeping him focused throughout his studies.

Another outstanding student, Mahjabin, achieved A*s in Maths, Further Maths and Physics, and will be continuing their education at Queen Mary University of London to study Mechanical Engineering. Mahjabin praised the combination of reassurance and empathetic care from the staff, calling it fundamental to what makes our sixth form so special.

Tazkirah Islam is also celebrating after achieving AAA and plans to study Medicine at University College London.

Several students attained at least two A*s: Tanzina Begum will study Psychology with Education at University College London; Abyan Islam will study Mathematical Computation, also at UCL; and Zaynab Alam will be joining the London School of Economics to study Psychological and Behavioural Science.

We are also proud to announce our first batch of students to complete the BTEC National Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching and Development. With an average grade of Distinction, these students will now progress to higher education courses aligned with their skills and interests. Among them, Mahfujur Rahman and Rhianna Clarke achieved D*DD and will be studying Sports and Exercise Science at the University of East London.

Head of School, Firdusi Uddin, said: “These students have worked with laser-focused determination to achieve their goals. Today’s results are a testament to their commitment, supported by our excellent teaching and pastoral staff.”

We’d like to thank our membership within the University Schools Trust, our sixth formers benefit from unique opportunities with world-leading universities, from bespoke workshops to campus visits.

Lastly, we are excited to announce that from September, our sixth form will move into a brand-new facility opposite the secondary school, offering cutting-edge resources to support students’ academic journeys.

We wish all our 2025 sixth formers a happy and successful future.
