SPW Year 12 Careers Fair

Last week, we were proud to host our annual Year 12 Careers Fair, an event that once again showcased the fantastic opportunities available to our students. More than 120 pupils attended, eager to engage with representatives from 25 universities and employers.

The fair proved to be a resounding success, offering invaluable insights and guidance as students begin to consider their future pathways.

Throughout the day, our students were able to explore a wide range of possibilities, from higher education to careers in professional sectors.

In addition to the exhibition stands, they attended live talks from Queen Mary University of London, the Construction Youth Trust and Imperial College London. These sessions provided first hand advice on applications, careers in different fields and the skills required to succeed. The enthusiasm and curiosity of our students shone through.

Katherine from Imperial College London said, “The students came to me with some great questions and were aiming high, hoping to attend competitive universities, which was amazing.”

Feedback like this highlights not only the ambition of our students, but also their readiness to take full advantage of the opportunities provided by St Paul’s Way.

We are grateful to all the universities, employers and guest speakers who gave their time and expertise to make this event possible. Their contribution ensured that our students left the fair feeling inspired and better prepared for the choices ahead.

This event perfectly reflects our school value of Aspiration. By connecting students with leading universities and employers, we are equipping them to set ambitious goals and work towards a future full of opportunity.
