Students at St Paul's Way Secondary School got the rare chance to take part in the Connecting Narratives Exhibition. It’s a truly inspiring event that showcased creativity across different Tower Hamlets schools. 
With guidance from institutions such as the University of the Arts London and UCL, this event was a great opportunity for students to showcase their talents in a professional setting.

UCL volunteered to deliver interactive workshops at St Paul’s Way and offered students a chance to improve their artistic abilities and learn valuable lessons.

They also visited the university campus for workshops that complemented their current curriculum. This dynamic sharing of ideas is vital because of how important learning outside of the classroom is.

The official exhibition took place for a week and attracted a big audience from various schools and providers. Festivity and inspiration hung in the air as students enjoyed seeing their projects showcased with those of others in similar institutions.

Sakina Ahmed, Year 10 student, said, "It has taught me different techniques and different forms of art and has even made my understanding go deeper, improving my ideas and creativity."

Our students were encouraged to take pride in their work, and many showed a new assertiveness in expressing themselves to an audience beyond our school community!

The event not only honoured the spirit of artistic creation but also touched deeply on what our school holds dear. It truly was a thunderous success and sparked a creative burst that motivated them to dive deeper into their imagination.

We will continue to offer fulfilling experiences like this, to allow our students to practice their abilities on a deeper, meaningful level.
