This term, the children were buzzed with excitement as they participated in an engaging business and marketing workshop with The Bumbles of Honeywood.

The workshop aimed at inspiring young minds to think creatively on the topic of business and marketing as they begin future entrepreneurial projects.

It’s led by marketing professionals who walked the pupils through the process of marketing a business and generating innovative ideas.

The children were asked to consider how they could create businesses out of their hobbies and skills. Some of the great ideas were starting a bakery where they would sell delicious cupcakes, while others considered the idea of starting a crochet business.

To bring their plans into action, the students were divided into groups based on different themes, including football, photography, and baking.

They had to create marketing plans for their businesses, coming up with potential slogans and brand ideas.

One of the groups came up with a plan for a football club, while another used the theme of healthy eating among sportsmen and came up with healthy dishes to feed potential footballers. Communication, teamwork, and creativity were all critical in the process.

It got our pupils working together, displaying major out-of-the-box thinking by opening their creative minds.

They exchanged and created ideas, gaining an important lesson regarding the power of marketing and entrepreneurship. Everyone was completely absorbed in their projects and thrilled with their possibilities for the future.

The organisers of the workshop were amazed at the level of engagement by the students and can't wait to return for an encore. With such intelligent plans already under development, the future is bright for our budding entrepreneurs!
