We were delighted to host our recent informal recitals, an evening that truly celebrated the dedication and courage of our young musicians. Parents and families were invited to join us, creating a warm and supportive atmosphere as students took to the stage to share the results of weeks of hard work.

In the lead up to the recital, students rehearsed either during their music lessons with teachers or independently in their own time. For some, this was their very first performance. A number of students had only recently begun learning their instruments, yet they showed remarkable confidence and commitment in preparing for the event.

The programme was wonderfully varied. We heard beautiful singing performances, including A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square and When You Believe. Instrumentalists impressed the audience with piano pieces such as Allegro Moderato and Scarlatti Sonata in C, while others performed on violin, flute, and both acoustic and electric guitar.

From classical compositions to contemporary favourites like Blackbird and Daytripper, each performance reflected the individuality and talent of our students.

It was a pleasure to witness the focus, bravery and joy shown by every performer. The recital was not about perfection but about progress, creativity and the willingness to step outside of comfort zones. The applause from families and staff alike was a testament to the supportive culture we are proud to nurture.
