Parental engagement can be defined as parents’ active effort to understand and support their children’s education at school, home and beyond.  At SPWF and SPWT, we fully appreciate the importance of parents or carers’ participation in school life. Research has shown that a strong parent-school relationship plays an instrumental part in ensuring students realise their full potential.  

We pride ourselves on the strong link we have developed with our families and one which has been integral to the ‘Outstanding’ school we are today. We would like to develop parental engagement further through our Parents’ Forum which will be held throughout year – half-termly for each Year and Termly for each Key Stage – with different dimensions of parental engagement.
