As we approach the last week of the autumn term, please be advised that 100% attendance is crucial as we continue to have lessons as normal as well as assessment week/mock exams for year 11.
If your child is unwell, please send them in once they feel better i.e. before break/lunch with a note to avoid getting a late detention. We also have our medical room available for students to use if they feel unwell.
Please help us and your child by ensuring their attendance remains above 97%, allowing them to achieve their full potential.
Thank you for all your support.
SPWT Attendance Team
We are pleased to welcome all of our students in Years 7 to 13 back to school, with the hope of a positive and productive year ahead.
We have made extensive adjustments to our site and all our structures to enable our students to return to school and, as much as possible, to minimise the risk to the SPWT community. We have fully detailed all plans and adjustments in the Parent Guidance Document which can be found on our school website. As per DFE guidance, attendance to school is mandatory for all students and any absences will be followed up in line with our attendance policy.
To help support the management of the school day for our students, we are postponing all on-site parent events for the Autumn Term. We are exploring alternative virtual models for parental events, and will share details with you shortly.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
