Face coverings
Face coverings are no longer advised in a school setting.
Testing
Twice weekly testing is no longer required for students.
Contact tracing and isolation
Contact tracing is no longer carried out. There is no requirement for close contacts to isolate.
If unwell with Covid symptoms, students should remain at home until they have recovered. If a PCR or LFT test was taken to confirm a positive result, where possible, an LFT test should be taken on day 5 and day 6 to ensure the result is negative before returning to school.
Vaccination
All eligible staff and students aged 12 and over are encouraged to take up the offer of the vaccine, including boosters.
Vaccines are our best defence against COVID-19. They help protect young people and adults, and benefit those around them. Vaccination makes people less likely to catch the virus and less likely to pass it on.
