Students celebrate an outstanding year of GCSE success
at
St. Paul’s Way Trust School

Students and staff at St Paul’s Way Trust School are celebrating an impressive set of GCSE results. Another record increase in the number of GCSE passes was recorded this year with 60% of the students achieving 5 A*-C grades, including English and Maths. This is a 13% improvement on last year’s record results.
Headteacher Grahame Price was delighted with the success of his students saying,
“We are all delighted that so many of our young people have done so well. They worked very hard to achieve these results and deserve this success. These excellent results reflect the effort of teachers, students and their families all working together.”

There were some spectacular individual successes, including
Syeda Hussain 6A* / 3A
Thaslima Sultana 3A* / 5A
Hamida Begum 4A* / 5A
Reema Begum 2A* / 7A
Saif Uddin 2A* / 5A
Shuhana Ruji 1A* / 4A
Khadeja Kobir 7A
Over the past three years the school has been on an exciting journey of change, success and high achievement. Students and staff moved into a £40 million new building in January, the school opens its doors to a new sixth form on 6th September this year and the new sports facilities and playground are due for completion in October of this year.
These results are further confirmation that St Paul’s Way Trust School is improving rapidly. An Ofsted inspection in July 2010 concluded that the school’s ‘capacity to improve’ was ‘outstanding’.
